Our Work
Much of our work goes unseen—and that's just how we like it. However, whenever we get the chance to document our efforts, we take it. Every hand in our group is hard at work, often getting dirty, which makes capturing everything a challenge. While these glimpses might not cover it all, they offer a taste of who we are and the spirit behind what we do!
"1000 Year Flood" Relief
A dedicated team of Do-Gooders traveled to Greenbrier County, one of the many areas devastated by the storm. We were not only able to lend a helping hand to those deeply affected but also had the opportunity to have WCHS document our efforts. Their coverage highlights the incredible individuals of West Virginia who stepped up to assist, even at great personal risk. The impact of the flood is still felt in West Virginia today. Addressing Our Community
1st Annual Fashion Show
Our First Annual Fashion Show was a tremendous success! We demonstrated that you can create a spectacular event using upcycled clothes from Goodwill, raise funds to provide over 40 Easter baskets for kids at the City Mission, and have an incredible time doing it. Now THAT’S how we make a difference in OUR community!
VEGGINGTON
West Virginia has faced significant health challenges, including high rates of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. We’re committed to reversing this trend. From bobbing for apples and "14 Carrot" gold digging to potted plants and painted pumpkins, our goal was to educate youth about the importance of fruits and vegetables. We aim not only to change the statistics but to make a real difference in kids' lives.
WeBAM Addressing Our Community
2nd Annual Fashion Show
We took a back alley, moved the dumpsters, and rolled out a runway! It was another successful year raising funds to provide Easter baskets for the kids at the Huntington City Mission. A huge thanks to Create Huntington's #WeBAM for hosting an incredible weekend and making it all possible!
